6 Things To Do While Waiting On Your God Given Spouse Most Christian singles talk about how they are waiting on God to give them their future spouse pretty often. We all want love and we want God to give us the right person to marry. We want God to bless us and sometimes we get angry when He doesn’t. I’ll be the first to admit it. I have been mad at God before because I felt He was taking too long to give me my spouse. It’s funny because when we get mad at God, we probably look like silly toddlers throwing a tantrum to Him. Being single is actually a good thing. Check out 1 Corinthians 7:8. Paul says, “To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is good for them to remain single as I am.” It gives us time to get closer to God which is the number one reason why we are on this earth. That and to help others get to know Him as well. Only God can truly make us happy. Ever seen a miserable married couple? Yea, they are everywhere. What Do You Want !?

When the two disciples heard him say this, they followed Jesus. Turning around, Jesus saw them following and asked, “What do you want?” -John 1:37,38 “What do you want?” Jesus asks you. Guilt Free...

Guilty cries the crowd, and they take up stones. The woman has no defender. Caught in the act, dragged out of the room. A cloak thrown around her shoulders to keep out cold. But it cannot hide her sin. Picture yourself as that woman-humiliated, terrified. You are thrust in front of your neighbors, townspeople, people you know. You feel ashamed. They look at you with disdain. you feel like a small child battered by the condemning look of those accusing people. You want to run and hide, but where can you go? Even your own heart condemns you. "Guilty!" It points a finger. A sharp stab of pain cuts at the core of who you are. Overwhelming by waves of sadness and shame, you sink to the ground, huddled in a heap. The crowd presses in. They tower over you, not only bearing down on you but also on Jesus, the one they are questioning. Instead of answering their questions, he bends down and writes in the dust. Hope deffered !

All was well with me, Now all is shattered within me. Stripped me of honor; Dreams banished forever. Crying never laid to rest, Eyes pouring out tears to God. Crushed with pain Reproached by words, Groping in darkness, Feet fastened with shackles. Becoming a laughing stock, Calling for help with no one to hear! Blown away like a chaff Days passed, plans shattered And so are the desires of my heart! As water wears away stone As torrents wash away the soil So is my hope washed away.  Many wounds with no reason Waiting for renewal to come Trembling seizes my body. Atleast there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down it will sprout again But i as a human can find no hope! Why is my hope uprooted like a plant? Where then is my hope? Who can see any hope for me? Blaming God versus Trusting God

When what we feared comes upon us, what we dreaded has happened to us. When we could find no peace,no quietness,no rest. When we feel like God above doesn't care about us anymore. Having lost all hope you might feel like there are no true friends to stand by you. whenever someone questions you how you are doing...you wish that you could tell them that,"if only my anguish could be weighed and all my misery be placed on the scales! It would surely outweigh the sand of the seas." Or you might be thinking by yourself that you have no more strength to still  have hope.
