My Daddy !

Image
At some point in our lives we come to a point where we feel like the only thing we held close to our heart is being taken away...without any prior notice, without any warnings some things that we adored just leaves us. When this happens we find ourselves to be broken, bruised emotionally. We feel like we have nothing more precious to lose anymore.  We feel like our happiness is gone. We feel like all the past memories are taunting us and so we tell ourselves that no one cares for us and we try to bear our own pain But the truth is there is someone who knows how much it hurts you...It’s quite encouraging to have a heavenly father who has always been there by our side to wipe our tears, to bind our wounds, to hear our heart’s cry... In fact, He indeed feels the pain we feel; He understands every prayer behind your sighs...He has been faithful to hold your hand to lead you and to be with you. When we as His children ask Him for something in our prayers, he not just gives what we h...

Raise above the storms !

Image
A turkey and an eagle react differently to the threat of a storm. A turkey reacts by running under the barn, hoping the storm won't come near. On the other hand, an eagle leaves the security of its nest and spreads its wings to ride the air currents of the approaching storm, knowing they will carry it higher in the sky than it could soar on its own. Based on your reaction to the storms of life, which are you? A turkey or an eagle? It's natural for me to be a turkey in my emotions, but I have chosen to be an eagle in my spirit. And as I have spread my wings of faith to embrace the "Wind," placing my trust in Jesus and Jesus alone, I have experienced quiet, "everyday" miracles: His joy has balanced my pain. His power has lifted my burden. His peace has calmed my worries. His grace has been more than adequate to cover me. His strength has been sufficient to carry me through. His love has bathed my wounds like a healing balm. Soaring has become a...

Agape ❣️

“Yes, Jesus loves me, Yes, Jesus Loves me…” It became one of the world’s most popular Christian hymns. My question is  “Why does Jesus love me?”  I can understand why I love Him, but I cannot understand why He loves me. At times I am unlovable. I do not deserve His love. But my  faults  do not  fade  His love. My  goodness  does not make His love  greater . My  faith  does not  favor  His love. My  errors  do not  erase  His love. I can  forget  Him, but He will never  forsake  me. Never! (Heb.13:5). When it seems no one cares, He cares (I Pet.5:7). At times I fail, but He forgives and forgets. He gives me daily benefits, yet I focus on myburdens.  Why?  His love is not human, but holy. His love is not selfish, but supernatural. His love is beyond understanding (Phil.4:7). His love never diminishes, dims or decreases. Dear friend, the Lord Jesus also loves you. You may rej...

Handling Temptations !

Temptation is one of the commonest human experiences. We will face temptations every day. Even though it is very common, not a lot of believers are equipped to deal with temptation. In studying the anatomy of temptation, there are seven truths: 1.Temptation comes from the devil, even Jesus was tempted by devil. 2. Temptation thrives in isolation- temptation came to Jesus when He was alone 3. Temptation always starts with a question- when the serpent wanted to tempt Eve he put forth a question, he said Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?4. Temptation is a function of desire, 5. Temptation usually has a geographical connection, 6. Temptation does not become sin until you agree with it, 7. Temptation does not have to become sin- being tempted is not a sin falling into temptation is sin. We think that it is God, who tempts us but the truth is No! Temptation originates from the devil. "But every person is tempted when he is ...

Past is Past !

We all have a calendar hanging up in our house. Calendars have many uses.we use calendars to remind us of things. It helps us to remember the best days. We also keep track of our appointments with the doctor. We schedule vacations and soo on !a holiday, and birthdays. What else do we do with calendars?                                  A calendar is a very valuable, isn't it? But there is one small problem with the calendars. They expire, they cannot be used after that particular year. And an expired calendar is really no good. Because the dates in this calendar have already happened. It's in the past.    You know, this calendar reminds me of my own past. There are times in my life I wish I could forget, times when I sinned or made mistakes. If this calendar held a record of the mistakes I made this year, I'd be embarrassed to show it to you. I bet all of you would say the same....

Conquerors of our PAST !!!

Human beings are manipulated by memories. Some bring a smile when we think of it and some bring tears...the memories that bring tears were the incidents which kept up us awake the whole night and those memories are something which we wanted to forget. We keep struggling with it and somehow try to forget it but, every time we come across a particular r word, a particular name, a particular dress, a particular area or a particular person all those memories flush back into our mind. No matter how hard we try to forget those memories it keeps coming back making us to feel the ache in that particular scar again and again. We all feel if only we had a chance to fix it we would gladly do so; but the fact is the past can never be changed.                                                                         ...

Just Wait...

Image
Waiting can be the hardest thing to do. In the waiting, we feel like nothing is getting accomplished. This causes us to worry and do things outside of God’s will. But it’s in the waiting when our part is done and it’s now  God’s part  to do.  Just wait . There’s one thing that I’m really bad at and it’s  waiting . When God asks me to wait,  I think of a million things that I could be doing. The more I see time pass and nothing seems to be getting accomplished, I become  anxious . For those of you who are ambitious achievers like me, we think that it’s only in the doing that we can achieve. The truth is,  waiting is as important as doing . When God asks us to wait, He is simply saying our part is done and now it’s  His part to do .  Proverbs 16:9  says, “ In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps. ” We can’t accomplish our God-sized tasks without God. He does this to show us ...
